Illustrating and drawing for me is the ultimate way to express myself. I love the use of bright colors and my work is usually character based, because I love drawing people and portraits. I enjoy challenging myself to tell a story within just one or few frames. Engaging the viewer no matter how big or small the work is.

Growing up, I didn't get to see a lot of (cartoon) characters that looked like me or I could relate to. I'm always inspired by the black woman, her beauty and what stories she has to tell. Most of my works show some kind of vulnerability and soft emotion, yet I also want to encourage strength. The goal is always to give back to the culture and my dream for the future is to give back to the community by what I create.
